Overview

“BoomZista for Youths” is a youth newsletter published by BoomZista Institute. Here teenagers (between 13 to 18 years old) and youth adults (19 to 25 years old) can share whatever is related to nature and Earth including their ideas, articles, drawings, paintings, etc. Our purpose is improving their knowledge to open a new window for their professional future. Thus, researchers’, writers’, and artists’ work are also welcome here but in a comprehensible language for youths. Remember that adult contents cannot be published here.

Aims and Scope

To bright the future, the education of the next generation is necessary which is our vital duty. As different sources are available here and there, it is often challenging for our children to obtain the right one. One of the obligations of BoomZista is creating a trustworthy and powerful database for youngsters in this area; through this, youths can access understandable scientific articles about the environment, life science, agriculture, biology, and so on. This initiative has got several positive points such as extending youths’ knowledge and creativity, making them responsible, letting them discover their interest, helping them with their university field and career decision, etc.

Contributors

We encourage young scientists, i.e., teens (between 13 to 18 years old) and youth adults (19 to 25 years old), to send us their research and essays which will be published on our website after revision. For the first step, contributors must complete the submission procedure and pay attention to copyright/plagiarism rules that will be their responsibility. Moreover, researchers, writers, and artists are also welcome to share their works here but in a simple language by considering copyright/plagiarism concerns.

Types of works

Various kinds of works, including opinions, essays, articles, paintings, designs, podcasts, etc., and mixtures of these works are acceptable. Writing works should be about 1000-1500 words. Podcasts published here should contain a written summary as well.

About the Editor


Mehraneh Motamedi Juibari is a PhD student in the entomology field at Guilan University (Guilan, Iran). Her area of the doctoral thesis is about controlling orchard pests. Prior to coming to the University of Guilan, she received MSc degree in 2010 from the Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University (IAU; Tehran, Iran) in Agricultural Engineering-Agricultural Biotechnology. She wrote her thesis on the production of silver and gold nanoparticles by native extremophilic microorganisms working at the Agriculture Biotechnology Research Institute of Iran (ABRII). She has published three ISI articles and participated in several conferences for poster and oral presentations. She received her BSc degree in Plant Protection (2007) from the Science and Research Branch of IAU University and has also passed a period in the Entomology Department of the Iranian Research Institute of Plant Protection. Overall Her research interests include entomology, Pest Control, biodiversity, biotechnology, Nanobiotechnology, and painting.
